Creation of a booking page, through which a site visitor can book appointments

A special booking application "Booking" is included in Builderall, which makes it ingeniously easy to manage appointments booked by website visitors (e.g. for consultations or events) in a calendar. It is administered in the Builderall Dashboard and can be integrated into any "Cheetah" website in various ways. In "Cheetah" even a separate element category "Booking" is offered for this purpose.

After clicking "Open", the very clear dashboard of the application appears on the screen. Here you have access to all created calendars, here you can manage all your subscribers and appointments and much more (some features are still under development at the time of writing this chapter). But before it can be used, you need to create at least one calendar. The button "NEW CALENDAR" serves this purpose. It opens a new settings area, from which the first thing you have to do is select the "Calendar type" via a tab. These tabs are "CONSULTATION" and "EVENT". To make it easier for you to decide which type of calendar is best for your application, you can find some keywords about it at the bottom of the page under "Usage examples" and "Features". For our example we choose "CONSULTATION" and as name of the calendar "Consultation appointments BA-insert". Now you get to a kind of "Wizard", where further information is requested. A green progress bar shows you the "settings progress".

On the first page of the wizard - the basic settings - you can leave a short description of the calendar, upload a logo and set the background color of the calendar via a color selector. In the area below you define the time zone to which the calendar's time information refers. In most cases, only "Predefined timezone" is suitable (i.e. you as the website operator define the time zone). In the drop-down box below, all possible time zones are listed according to "continents". We select "Central European" here.

In the next section you explicitly define what should happen after the website visitor has entered an appointment in the calendar. This can be either a short success message, which you can formulate yourself under "Display sucess message", or a redirect to a special thank-you page designed by you. In this case "Redirect to URL") you need to enter the web address of the thank you page in the corresponding field. We select the first alternative here:

Note: Use the "thank you" page to provide the interested party with further information in advance. A small video is also always a good idea here, in which you introduce yourself and give a small preview of what the prospect can expect at the appointment.
