Important settings for a web page

Each individual web page of a website allows individual settings, which are divided into the categories "General Settings", "SEO Settings", "Popup Settings" and "Header Settings" and "Footer Settings":

The last three categories have already been covered in the section on the main design elements. They are used to assign the popup menus and headers and footers created outside the web page.

General settings

But what you need to fill in any case are some items in the "General settings". Mandatory are the name of the page and its address URL. The name should describe the page briefly and concisely (could possibly go in sync with any main menu names) and the URL is the address through which the page is called in connection with the assigned domain (or subdomain). Here you should always use lowercase letters and - if it makes sense - also include a keyword that is essential for the page.

The following two input fields are of highest priority for search engines, because the texts entered here appear in their search results.

In Google...

The headline and the meta description are essential to ensure that the corresponding page can be optimally ranked by search engines. Therefore, you should definitely use a so-called "snippet generator" to create them. It helps to use the available space optimally. However, you have to take care of an optimal text regarding its content yourself. If you are interested in high click-through rates and good ranking positions of the page, then you should make a special effort especially here.

Note: The "Title" entry of the actual website is prepended to its title in "Cheetah" for each web page (in the example above, this is "BUILDERALL"). Also, the title separator specified here (in the above example "|") is used in each page of the website. Only if you want each page to have exactly the same description text (which is not advisable for SEO reasons), you should fill in the "Description" field in the "General Settings" of the website and leave the description empty in the individual pages.

Integration Key

A so-called "Integration Key" is only necessary if you create funnels with connection to "Mailingboss". You can find it in "Mailingboss" in the "Integration" area. There you can copy it to the clipboard using the "COPY TOKEN" button and then paste it into the "General Settings" of the website using.

Here you can insert special scripts relevant to the page, for example a Pinterest tag:

SEO settings

In this setting category, you can enter search terms relevant for the website, separated by commas, as well as define page-specific metatags and - if there is a need for it - set up a redirect (for this purpose, you only need to enter the corresponding target URL in the field provided).
