As you can see, differently designed popups can be assigned to a desktop or smartphone view of the corresponding website. Furthermore, you can also influence the popup's fade-in behavior. For this purpose, different types of popups are offered for selection in a drop-down box. Very often the time-based variant (which is often considered annoying) is used. In this case, you simply specify the time in minutes and seconds when the popup should pop up after the user enters the page.
Other variants are the exit popup and the scroll-based popup. The former pops up when the user exits the web page. With the second variant, you can explicitly specify the percentage of the page visitor who must have scrolled down the page before the popup appears automatically. It is best to try out all these variants yourself and think about possible areas of application.
